Hall-Effect Sensor Technique for No Induced Voltage in AC Magnetic Field Measurements Without Current Spinning

چکیده

Accurately sensing AC magnetic field signatures poses a series of challenges to commonly used Hall-effect sensors. In particular, induced voltage and lack high-frequency spinning methods are bottlenecks in the measurement fields. We describe technique that can be implemented two ways: 1) current driving sensor is oscillating at same frequency as field, signal measured second harmonic frequency, 2) preset, plus current. This method has potential advantages over traditional means measuring fields power systems (e.g., motors, inverters), it reduce components needed (subsequently reducing overall cost size) not bandwidth limited by spinning. The produces no results low offset, thus preserving accuracy precision measurements. Experimentally, we have shown offset values between 8 27 μT frequencies ranging from 100 Hz 1 kHz, validating this both cases.

Dependence of Quantized Hall Effect Breakdown Voltage on Magnetic Field and Current

When large currents are passed through a high-quality quantized Hall resistance device the voltage drop along the device is observed to assume discrete, quantized states if the voltage is plotted versus the magnetic field. These quantized dissipative voltage states are interpreted as occurring when electrons are excited to higher Landau levels and then return to the original Landau level. The q...

Coreless Hall Effect Based Current Sensing Technique with Magnetic Shielding

In this modern era, most of the equipment is electrostatic type. But still, in measuring current, we use conservative type. So, we developed a Modified coreless Hall Effect based current sensing method with magnetic shielding. The coreless Hall Effect based measurement method uses hall sensors without iron core. Hall sensors are firmly fixed on the insulated current carrying conductor. The magn...

Hall effect in an AC electric field and related phenomena

Nonlinear Hall effect in an AC electric field and related phenomena. Abstract It has been shown that in metals and semiconductors the joint action of permanent magnetic and AC electric fields leads to arising of DC surface electric current. The physical reason for such a current is due to essentially non-linear dynamics of electronic gas in the surface layer. In adiabatic limit the analytical e...
